This fall, Halifax will see its 5th vigil of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. Please join in. The vigil will commence with a prayer service on Tuesday, September 25 at 7 pm at Canadian Martyrs Church on Inglis Street. This is an inter-denominational service, attended by Catholics and Protestants, with Scripture readings and prayers led by both clergy and lay people.
They will have an information session immediately following the service and there will be an opportunity to sign up for a prayer hour.
The prayer vigil on South Park Street will commence on Wednesday Sept 26 and continue until Sunday, Nov 4.
Hours of the vigil are: Monday through Friday 8 am – 8 pm, Saturdays 9 am – 5 pm, Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm
If you already know which hour you would like to come and pray, you can email me and we will get you on the schedule now. This will be a tremendous help if we can fill many hours before we even begin.
